             "THIS GUY" COMICS

It all began back in September of 1995.  I was sitting around sketching and I drew a cool looking character.  I thought so anyway.  The only problem was, I could not figure out a name.  I thought and thought and I said to myself, "I really like this guy".  This guy kinda stuck after that.  I began to show my friends the character.  They all seemed to have the same feeling about it.  We then began to conjure up ideas for a story to go along with, "This Guy".  We concluded that it would all be a kind of "play on words" thing.  So....a villain was born called, "Him".  "They", followed shortly afterward.  The all-time cool scenerio was, THIS GUY SWINGS IN TO A CROWD IN HYSTERIA DUE TO SOME KIND OF TRAGEDY.  THIS GUY SAYS, "WHO DID THIS"?  THE CROWD POINTS AND SAYS, "HIM"! THIS GUY THEN SAYS, "WELL, AT LEAST WE KNOW I DID'NT DO IT".  A GUY NAMED "I" STEPS FORWARD AND SAYS, "YOU'RE DARN RIGHT IT WAS'NT ME".....and so on and so forth.  You get the picture.  I would really like to thank two friends that helped with the storys back then.  David farley and Jason Robins.  Both of Biloxi, MS.  We had a lot of fun putting this together.  "This Guy", unfortunately, sat in my closets and survived through all of my life's disasters up until now.  Now, I present to you,...... my hero,..... the lil guy himself......"This Guy".

         "This Guy" Comic book series

       "UNKNOWN TO EVERYONE....REBORN FOR JUSTICE!"

A young boy is beaten and persued by bullies after a careless mistake. While being chased the boy does not realize there is a cliff ahead. He falls and is changed after hitting his head on an old car rim. The unused parts of his mind is unlocked during impact. The boy also has total amnesia and will never be the same person again. His mind opens up wide and begins to transform him into a superhero created from within. His appearance changes, he heals himself, and he looks forward to a city called "Metaphor".

The City of Metaphor is run by an organized crime boss named "The Evil Him". The Evil Him has a created thug army called "They". They do the nasty business for The Evil Him and are very loyal. The Evil Him answers only to an unseen boss called, "Me". The captain of the thug army is called, "You". They have been created from kidnapped men in and around The City of Metaphor. The Evil Him's Scientists engineered They and are still in process of creation. One of the scientists named, "Man", has decided that he has had enough of the underhanded scheme and wants out of "The Business".

The Evil Him dispatches You and some of They to pay Man a visit. The visit is to intimidate Man into remaining in The Business. While paying Man and his family a visit, This Guy is entering the outskirts of The City of Metaphor. This Guy realizes that there is something wrong at the residence and decides to check it out. Threatened by They, This Guy proceeds to break the thugs up and enters the house. You is still in the process of wall to wall counseling with Man. This Guy immediately springs into action and delivers Man and his family from You. You flees and heads back to The Evil Him to tell what has happened. You coins the name "This Guy" for his and Theys' attacker.

As the story will follow, The Rim will be a character of its own. During the impact of the fall a personality was projected into The Rim through the boy's mind. The Rim will ultimately serve as a friend and mentor for This Guy as he will frequent The Rim's presence. The organized crime in The City of Metaphor has been challenged and The Evil Him is now out for revenge. This Guy's powers will be super intelligence, healing, great fighting skills, and he will be able to occupy solid objects as if they were wide open. The only achilles heal for This Guy will be The Rim. This Guy has no memory of being a boy chased by bullies from the neighboring City of Simile. He remains This Guy fighting the organized crime in The City of Metaphor.

I think what sets this comic apart from all others is the characters and the story. The characters are all original, new, and all with basic names. This Guy is small and he does not look like he's in a body building contest as most superheroes do. I would hope This Guy would be an ongoing series. I think my comic would appeal to children and teenagers. I believe in my story and in my characters.  I can see this comic evolving into a cartoon, toys, and hopefully crossovers.   Thank you for your time and consideration.
