Not mentioned in the first comic book, The Rim, sitting in its spot, for God knows how long, was disturbed. The young boy who struck it during a fall lost consciousness. He later awoke with amnesia and his mind began to open up to vast expansion. A new hero was born in that instant. During the young boy's transformation his mind projected a personality into The Rim. The Rim will have, unknowing to This Guy, all the guidance, wisdom, love, and all things taught by the young boy's parents. The Rim will serve This Guy as mentor and friend of our hero. It will be seen and heard only by This Guy himself.
